The Remote Accountant (TRA) is an innovative BPO in the Philippines that specialises in connecting great people with great Australian Businesses.
We have an Australian-based client who is excited about adding another member to their remote team. They are an accounting firm in Victoria that services a wide range of business clients.
They are looking for a highly skilled bookkeeper who has excellent communication skills and is looking for a long-term career in accounting.
This role is 100% remote (work-from-home).
Minimum Experience:
- You must have 3+ years of proven work experience in bookkeeping for an Australian bookkeeping firm or accounting practice.
The role includes:
- Bank reconciliations
- Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
- Preparation of BAS / IAS returns
- Payroll processing STP, PAYG and superannuation reconciliation
- Month-end functions including reporting and resolving account discrepancies
Other Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a similar discipline
- Proficiency in Xero/XPM, MYOB, Quickbooks, Handisoft, Hubdoc and other accounting software programs
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word and Outlook) is a must
- Experience managing multiple clients
- Must be highly organised and detail-oriented
- Must be a team player
System Requirements:
- Stable internet connection (at least 80 MBPS)
Work Setup and Schedule:
- Full-time
- Day Shift (8 Hours)
- Fixed Saturday and Sunday off
- Remote/Work-from-home
- A separate room to undertake work is required
- Must not be disturbed by electronic devices during work hours
