Hi there and welcome to our website!

I’m Craig Allen, a CPA Qualified Accountant who has been offshoring for over six years. 

Unable to find staff in Australia, I formed my public practice team with five remote staff– two of which are accounting professionals.

Having spent significant time in the Philippines, I personally trained my staff by developing a training method and creating a written program that has improved the performance of my practice.

My offshore team effectively does ALL the work for the practice.

However, not all business owners have the luxury of time to train their remote staff.

Through our offshoring experience, we found that the lack of accounting and business insight and practical training in other offshore models leave both clients and staff dissatisfied.

Understanding this led us to create The Remote Accountant. We offer a full staffing solution by providing you with skilled tax accountants, financial accountants, administrators, executive assistants and marketers. Our practical training courses not only teach theory but, more importantly, how to do accounting and tax work in Australia.

We aim to help your business increase capacity, scale up cost-effectively and do work more efficiently.

Craig Allen, FCPA CA is a multi-faceted accountant and business consultant with over thirty years of experience. He is a fellow member of CPA Australia, a member and mentor of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, and a fellow of the Institute of Public Accountants. He has a long-standing track record in helping businesses achieve long-term success.

Craig’s standing amongst his fellow accountants is second to none as he helps other accounting firms meet quality standards through his consulting business, Quality Assurance for Accountants.
