We have an Australian-based client who wants to grow its remote team!
The client is an accounting firm in Sydney that provides business financial advisory, bookkeeping and accounting services to small businesses. They currently employ one offshore staff and are looking for a talented assistant accountant to join their team.
The role includes:
- Bank reconciliations
- Accounts Receivable / Payable
- Payroll processing STP and PAYG & Superannuation reconciliation
- Month-end and year-end processing
- Ensure accurate and timely entry of data to produce Trial Balance
- Monthly reconciliation of balance sheet and profit and loss
- BAS Return/FBT
- Cash flow/Budget forecasting and management
- Prepare monthly financial statements
- Ensure taxation/Audit and legislative compliance
- Asset Management
- Management reporting
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a similar discipline
- 1-2 years minimum proven work experience and track record with an Australian business are essential
- Proficiency in accounting software programs such as Xero and Deer Inventory
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel is a must
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized, detail-oriented and willing to learn
System Requirements:
- Stable internet connection (at least 50 MBPS)
Work Setup and schedule:
- Full-time
- Day Shift (8 Hours)
- Fixed Saturday and Sunday off
- Remote/Work-from-home
- A separate room to undertake work is required
